Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced technician to support maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including wheeled platforms. The role includes supervising inspections, interpreting Army manuals, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with shop personnel, adhere to ISO and quality policies, and participate in cross-training to enhance capabilities. Valid US license may be required depending on location and deployment needs.

Qualifications

• Must analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals related to vehicle maintenance.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Inspects maintenance and repair efforts for Heavy Equipment (Wheel).
• Supervises and performs maintenance and inspections of military heavy equipment.
• Provides guidance to shop personnel on inspection principles and workmanship.
• Ensures compliance with government and corporate regulations and ISO/QMS requirements.
• Cross-trains to maintain flexibility and skills across quality programs.
• Upholds safety practices and supports Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Follows environmental, safety and health standards and wears PPE.
