Job summary

Reliance High-Tech / Reliance Protect is seeking a field-based security systems engineer to diagnose and repair CCTV, access control and intruder systems across sites. You will handle fibre, LAN/WAN concepts and various CCTV platforms, escalating to senior engineers when required.

The role includes performing emergency fixes outside normal hours, contributing to team knowledge, and training to stay current with technologies and processes. A valid UK driving licence is typically required.

Qualifications

• Essential NVQ 3 in Electronic Security or equivalent proven experience.
• Knowledge of Access control / CCTV / Intercom / Intruder systems.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and TCP/IP networking.
• Relevant certifications in health and safety (IOSH/CSCS) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide fault finding and repairs for PC/Network based and analogue security systems.
• Respond to outages with emergency solutions as rota requires.
• Liaise with higher grade engineers as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure Scope of Works is met.
