Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Security Service Engineer to service a wide range of fire and security systems across London and locations inside the M25. The role includes on-call duties, overtime, and a company vehicle with a fuel card.

You will work to British Standards and FIA regulations, performing fault-finding, repairs, and upgrades while maintaining high levels of customer service. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• IP-based systems knowledge essential and familiarity with British Standards.
• Full UK driving licence required and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service, fault-find, repair and upgrade a wide range of fire and security systems.
• Work on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting.
• Carry out small remedial works and ensure compliance with standards.
• Participate in on-call rota and occasional gate/door automation tasks.

Senior Fire & Security Service Engineer- London & Inside M25

• £46,000 Basic
• £46,000 basic salary per annum
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Overtime paid in addition to your basic salary
• £385 per week standby payment when on-call

Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a well-established, NACOSS Gold and BAFE Fire Gold Accredited company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business that values its engineers and offers excellent earning potential through overtime and on-call payments. Working within our Service Department, you'll cover London and locations inside the M25, servicing a wide range of commercial fire and security systems.

The Role

• Servicing, fault-finding, repairing, maintaining and upgrading a wide range of fire and security systems
• Working on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, Emergency Lighting, IP-based systems and more
• Carrying out small remedial works as required
• Working to British Standards and FIA regulations
• Covering customer sites across London and inside the M25
• Participating in the on-call rota (approximately 1 week in every 6)
• Occasionally carrying out gate and door automation work (full training provided if required)

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• A solid understanding of IP-based systems (essential)
• Excellent knowledge of current British Standards and industry regulations
• A full UK driving licence or equivalent
• A professional approach with excellent customer service skills
