Job summary

Lyten Poland is seeking a Field Application and Commissioning Engineer (BESS, Energy Storage) to support commissioning, service, and rework for our advanced products. The role is highly mobile, performing on-site and workshop-based tasks in Gdańsk, with extensive travel to customer sites worldwide.

You will lead service activities, document findings, and train customers on operation and maintenance while upholding Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

Experience in customer technical support.
Experience working with high‑voltage power electronics products.
Excellent communication, self‑presentation skills, and a strong customer service mindset.
Knowledge of control systems software and hardware.
Strong understanding of battery systems (software and hardware).
Valid electrical permissions (SEP E).
Valid driver’s license.
Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge (documentation, drawings).
Willingness to travel up to 50–70%.
Good command of English (B2).

Responsibilities

Perform service, commissioning, and rework of Lyten products at customer sites and at the Lyten facility in Gdańsk.
Prepare and maintain detailed records of site observations, testing procedures, and checklists.
Conduct risk assessments and prepare service reports for all service and rework activities.
Update and organize customer service logs and documentation.
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose effective corrective actions.
Interact directly with customers to resolve technical problems and ensure proper follow-up.
Analyze and review findings to determine the best solution.
Maintain and promote a strong Health & Safety culture.
Train customers on the operation and maintenance of Lyten products.
