Job summary

Lyten Poland is seeking a Field Application and Commissioning Engineer (BESS, Energy Storage) to support commissioning, service, and rework activities for Lyten products. The role requires extensive travel to customer sites and remote diagnostics from the Gdańsk Service Workshop.

Strong technical expertise and customer focus are essential. The engineer will lead commissioning, perform service procedures, and train customers on operation and maintenance while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience in customer technical support.
• Experience with high‑voltage power electronics products.
• Excellent communication, self‑presentation, and a strong customer service mindset.
• Confidence, patience, tact, and diplomacy in challenging situations.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid electrical permissions (SEP E).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge (documentation, drawings).
• Knowledge of control systems software and hardware.
• Strong understanding of battery systems (software and hardware).
• Willingness to travel up to 50–70%.
• Good command of English (B2).

Responsibilities

• Perform service, commissioning, and rework at customer sites and at the Lyten facility in Gdańsk.
• Prepare and maintain detailed records of site observations, testing procedures, and checklists.
• Conduct risk assessments and prepare service reports for all service and rework activities.
• Update and organize customer service logs and documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose effective corrective actions.
• Interact directly with customers to resolve technical problems and ensure proper follow‑up.
• Analyze and review findings to determine the best solution.
• Maintain and promote a strong Health & Safety culture.
• Train customers on the operation and maintenance of Lyten products.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the manager as business needs evolve.
