Job summary

Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH is seeking a Field Application Engineer (m/f/d) to drive design-in projects and provide high-level technical support to customers in the assigned product area and region. You will manage projects from opportunity to design-in, plan customer visits, and deliver technical presentations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience as Field Application Engineer or similar is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electronic components and customer applications.
• Willingness to travel and engage with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive new design-in projects to support sales growth within the assigned product area and region.
• Provide technical advice to customers and identify suitable solutions for new applications.
• Manage customer projects from initial opportunity through to design-in status.
• Plan and conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and seminars.
• Identify market and technology trends and share insights with Product Marketing and Sales.
• Maintain project data and collaborate with Sales and Product Marketing to develop new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities with us

• Drive new design-in projects to support sales growth within the assigned product area and region
• Provide technical advice to customers and identify suitable solutions for new applications
• Manage customer projects from initial opportunity through to design-in status
• Plan and conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and seminars
• Identify market and technology trends and share relevant insights with Product Marketing and Sales
• Maintain project data and work closely with Sales and Product Marketing to develop new business opportunities

Your qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline
• Ideally professional experience as a Field Application Engineer, Application Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, or in electronics development
• Strong understanding of electronic components and customer applications
• Customer-focused mindset with confident communication and presentation skills
• Fluent Polish and good English skills, combined with willingness to travel
