Job summary
AUTODOC Group in Warsaw seeks a Trade Compliance Specialist focused on export controls and classification.
You will determine ECCNs and HS codes, maintain classification rationale, and align with EU/US regulations across BAFA and TARIC/TARES. The role includes analyzing tech specs, updating master data, and supporting audits.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or technical vocational training with several years of electrical or mechanical experience.
- Strong ability to read technical drawings and documentation.
- Experience with ECCN classification and EU/US customs practices.
- Knowledge of Harmonized Tariff System classification.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Accurately determine ECCNs and dual-use codes for Autodoc product portfolio.
- Maintain up-to-date ECCN records and classification rationale in trade systems.
- Determine HS Code and assign EZT, TARIC, TARES classifications.
- Classify goods, software, and technology per BAFA, EU, and US export laws.
- Analyze technical specs to determine appropriate classifications.
- Monitor updates to CCL and EU Dual-Use Annexes and adjust as needed.
- Support audits and inquiries related to export classifications.
- Develop and optimize classification processes with authorities.
