Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a Custodian- 2nd Shift (Hours: 2:30pm - 11pm) to provide students, staff, and the public a safe, sanitary, and attractive facility.

This twelve‑month position offers benefits and follows the collective bargaining agreement. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, minor repairs, event support, and maintaining building security. Starting immediately; qualified applicants must meet minimum qualifications and be prepared for fingerprinting and legal eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliability and punctuality with a safe, clean learning environment.
• Ability to lift/move objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Aufgaben

• Keep buildings and premises neat and clean per schedules.
• Shovel, plow, and sand walks and areas as needed.
• Check exit doors and panic bolts during occupancy hours.
• Raise and lower flag as required.
• Clean classrooms, dust furniture, vacuum carpets.
• Clean and disinfect toilets and surfaces daily.
• Assist with maintenance, minor repairs, and safety issues.
• Open/close building and secure doors/windows at end of day.
