A local educational institution is seeking a Custodian / Substitute Custodian to ensure cleanliness and safety across its facilities. This on-call position entails routine cleaning duties and requires someone skilled in operating cleaning equipment. Ideal candidates will have previous custodial experience and the ability to work well with school staff, students, and community members. Compensation is $25.80 per hour, with opportunities to transition into permanent full-time roles.

Formación

• Previous work experience as a custodian or other job-related experience is desired.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine custodial cleaning tasks according to District procedures.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and hand tools as required.
• Perform emergency cleaning services and prepare buildings for use.
• Assist staff and outside groups in facility-related support.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in janitorial care

Skill in efficiently and safely operating cleaning equipment and hand tools

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Work cooperatively with school principal, staff, community members and students

Ability to organize work and ensure tasks are completed on time
