Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine custodial cleaning tasks according to District procedures.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and hand tools as required.
• Perform emergency cleaning services and prepare buildings for use.
• Assist staff and outside groups in facility-related support.

Skills

Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools and equipment used in janitorial care

Skill in efficiently and safely operating cleaning equipment and hand tools

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Work cooperatively with school principal, staff, community members and students

Ability to organize work and ensure tasks are completed on time
