Job summary

U.S. Bank / Elavon is seeking a delivery-focused Senior Leader to oversee Partner Operations across Europe, owning partner relationships and the operational delivery behind it.

You will guide large European teams through senior leaders, accountable for performance, capacity and quality. This role requires owning the partner experience end-to-end—performance, escalations, service standards and operational output—while collaborating with Business Development, Product, Technology and Risk &

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of people leadership including managing managers.
• Experience managing partner, client or third-party relationships with performance and escalation management.
• Experience leading operational teams with SLA, quality and volume accountability.
• Track record of owning strategic targets with automation/digitisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills, including presenting to senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills using data and dashboards.
• Knowledge of card acquiring, payments or financial services and onboarding processes.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance of Partner Operations and European teams delivering processing services.
• Set direction and roadmap aligned with Operations strategy.
• Accountable for SLAs and KPIs with a focus on service and partner experience.
• Own partner governance – reviews, standards, and action plans.
• Act as senior escalation point for significant partner issues.
• Plan capacity, forecast, and allocate workload to protect service levels.
• Drive daily performance management with clear targets and reporting.
• Champion an automation-first approach to simplify processes.
• Coordinate with Product and Technology on system changes and go-lives.
• Maintain risk and control environment with compliant procedures.
• Present performance and risks to senior leaders with data-driven updates.
• Lead and develop managers and teams to be high-performing.
