Job summary

Anord Mardix, based in Poland at either Bielsko-Biala or Tczew, seeks a Senior Manager for Mechanical Commodity Management in Europe. You will lead regional sourcing, supplier strategy, and cost improvement across metal and fabrication categories, partnering with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver value and resilience.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of European metal and fabrication suppliers and manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of supplier economics, raw-material drivers, conversion costs, capacity, and total cost of ownership.
• Proven success leading supplier negotiations, sourcing decisions, cost-reduction programs, and supply-risk mitigation.
• Hands-on, self-directed working style with ownership, urgency, and execution discipline.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and internationally.
• Professional fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional mechanical commodity strategy, execution, and performance.
• Lead supplier negotiations, sourcing decisions, and regional supplier development.
• Translate global commodity directions into actionable regional plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Monitor European market conditions and translate into actionable business recommendations.
• Coordinate with global teams and regional sites to ensure compliant procurement.
