Job summary

Biogen Poland is seeking a (Senior) Analyst, EU VAT & Accounting to join the VAT Center of Excellence. You will prepare VAT returns, EC Listings, and Intrastat reports across European entities, while performing month-end reconciliations and maintaining documentation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and support special VAT projects. The role emphasizes accuracy, persistence, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years in international accounting, finance operations, or VAT.
• Knowledge of VAT regulations; Oracle experience is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Fluent English; German is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support submission of VAT returns across European jurisdictions.
• Prepare EC Listings and ensure accurate reporting of intra-community transactions.
• Prepare Intrastat reports per local requirements.
• Perform month-end VAT reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain VAT documentation folders with organized supporting documents.
• Support additional VAT compliance activities and projects as required.
• Collaborate with accounting, tax, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance.
