Job summary

Wolt License Services (WLS) is expanding its Financial Crime Prevention team and seeks a Localisation Specialist to own local CDD and merchant onboarding in designated EEA markets. You will work with Sales, Merchant Operations and Compliance to ensure onboarding remains compliant and efficient, reporting to the AML Lead.

You will interpret market-specific requirements, document processes and help onboard and monitor merchants while staying abreast of regulatory changes affecting local markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Compliance or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in CDD, KYC/KYB, AML compliance, merchant onboarding, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of local business environments, legal entity structures and merchant onboarding in one or more EEA markets.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT regulations and CDD requirements for financial, payment or e-money institutions.
• Experience supporting operational teams, CDD or compliance activities in regulated environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with ability to explain regulatory requirements practically.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with international teams.
• Professional fluency in English and knowledge of at least one local EEA language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local SME for merchant onboarding and CDD requirements within designated EEA markets.
• Support identification, interpretation and documentation of market-specific CDD requirements affecting onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to local Sales, Merchant Operations and Onboarding teams regarding CDD requirements and documentation expectations.
• Support development and maintenance of onboarding guidance, procedures and training materials to ensure consistent CDD implementation.
• Identify local regulatory, legal and market developments impacting onboarding requirements and CDD processes.
• Collaborate with KYC/AML leads and risk teams to reflect local requirements in procedures, risk assessments and tooling.
• Assist in resolving complex CDD cases including ownership structures and high-risk industries.
• Participate in QA reviews and control monitoring to identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Support testing and implementation of onboarding enhancements and new products.
