Job summary

Wolt License Services is expanding its Financial Crime Prevention function and seeking a Localisation Specialist. You will act as the local market SME for merchant CDD requirements across designated EEA markets, onboarding and monitoring.

This role collaborates with Sales, Merchant Ops, Compliance and the AML Lead to ensure compliant processes and effective risk controls. Strong knowledge of CDD, AML, and KYC, plus experience in regulated financial services, is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in CDD, KYC/KYB and AML compliance in financial services or payments.
• Experience with merchant onboarding and onboarding workflows.
• Ability to explain regulatory requirements to business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Act as the local SME for merchant onboarding and CDD requirements within designated EEA markets.
• Support the identification, interpretation and documentation of local market-specific requirements for onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
• Provide guidance to local Sales, Merchant Operations and Onboarding teams regarding CDD requirements and customer lifecycle events.
• Develop and maintain local onboarding guidance, procedures and training materials.
• Identify regulatory and market developments impacting onboarding and CDD processes.
• Collaborate with AML Lead, Compliance and 1 LoD Financial Crime Prevention teams to reflect local requirements in procedures and risk controls.
• Assist in resolving complex CDD cases including ownership structures and high-risk industries.
• Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities.
• Support testing and implementation of onboarding improvements and new markets.
• Promote a strong compliance culture across the business.
