Role requires coordination with subcontractors, greenery oversight, training, site inspections, and accurate documentation across environmental protection and waste management areas.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Job description

FABE POLSKA Sp. z o.o., specializing in road and highway construction, is recruiting an Environmental Protection Coordinator for the S17 expressway construction project on the Izbica - Zamość section in Lublin Voivodeship.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining decisions on waste processing (destruct, soil, rubble) together with developing the necessary procedures
• Obtaining derogation decisions (scaring off/relocating animals, destroying habitats, etc.) from the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection (RDOŚ) and marshal offices
• Reviewing and coordinating environmental impact assessment reports, and obtaining environmental decisions and RDOŚ rulings
• Reviewing and optimizing greenery designs for ongoing contracts
• Participating with subcontractors on greenery matters
• Coordinating the work of the nature supervision and the subcontractor on greenery matters
• Supporting Construction Management in representing the company before the Engineer and the Client on environmental protection matters
• Conducting training and site inspections in the area of environmental protection and waste management
• Overseeing correct document flow and cooperating with the logistics department on reporting and registering waste management operations

Requirements

• Experience in a similar position in road investment projects (construction or reconstruction) welcome
• Good knowledge of MS Office software; knowledge of AutoCAD-type software welcome
• High commitment and initiative in performing assigned duties
• Knowledge of environmental protection regulations and their practical implementation
• Driving license category B
