Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Security Architect to own the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions, and to analyze customer traffic while implementing Akamai security measures for enterprise clients.

You will address web app and bot attacks, collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and deliver solutions, and participate in ongoing training to upskill yourself and others. English communication is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Have knowledge of web security and understanding of modern web security risks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of web protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP.
• Be comfortable using Linux, scripting and log analysis.
• Have experience delivering technical solutions and support to enterprise customers.
• Show proactivity and sense of urgency with a constant desire to learn.
• Possess great communication skills including ability to explain technical concepts in English.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions
• Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and implementing Akamai security solutions to address customers' security concerns
• Dealing with new web application, bot attacks and WAF evasion techniques to enhance security posture
• Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope and create technical solutions and support the implementation
• Participating in ongoing training initiatives to up-skill yourself and to train others
