Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Security Architect to own the integration and deployment of security solutions for enterprise customers. You will configure, debug, document, test, and go-live security projects while analyzing customer traffic to address web security concerns.

You will counter bot activity and evasion techniques, collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft robust technical solutions. Candidates should be comfortable with Linux, scripting, and log analysis, with strong English

Partner with our enterprise customers

As a member of our Services team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of our security solutionsfrom integration through ongoing maintenance and optimizationworking closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions
• Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and implementing Akamai security solutions to address customers' security concerns
• Dealing with new web application, bot attacks and WAF evasion techniques to enhance security posture
• Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope and create technical solutions and support the implementation
• Participating in ongoing training initiatives to up-skill yourself and to train others

• Have knowledge of web security and understanding of modern web security risks
• Demonstrate knowledge of web protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP.
• Be comfortable using Linux, scripting and log analysis
• Have experience delivering technical solutions and support to enterprise customers
• Show proactivity and sense of urgency with a constant desire to learn
• Possess great communication skills including ability to explain technical concepts in English
