Job summary

Akamai Technologies in Kraków is seeking a Security Architect to own the technical integration, configuration, and go-live of our Security Solutions for enterprise customers.

You will analyze traffic and systems, implement security measures, and tackle web attacks and WAF evasion to improve security posture. Strong English communication and scripting skills are essential for collaboration with global teams.

As a member of our Services team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of our security solutions from integration through ongoing maintenance and optimization working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

As a Security Architect, You Will Be Responsible For

• Owning the technical aspects of integration (configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, go-live) of our Security Solutions
• Analyzing customer traffic as well as systems and implementing Akamai security solutions to address customers' security concerns
• Dealing with new web application, bot attacks and WAF evasion techniques to enhance security posture
• Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope and create technical solutions and support the implementation
• Participating in ongoing training initiatives to up-skill yourself and to train others

• Have knowledge of web security and understanding of modern web security risks
• Demonstrate knowledge of web protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP.
• Be comfortable using Linux, scripting and log analysis
• Have experience delivering technical solutions and support to enterprise customers
• Show proactivity and sense of urgency with a constant desire to learn
• Possess great communication skills including ability to explain technical concepts in English
