Job summary

Ayesa Digital is seeking an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide integration architectures across hybrid and cloud environments.

You will define integration strategies, governance models, and architecture standards while ensuring scalability, security, interoperability and operational excellence across EU projects.

Qualifications

• English proficiency at least B2.
• 8+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years in Enterprise/Integration Architect roles.
• Lead architect on at least one enterprise-wide integration platform deployment.
• Two certifications or equivalent: IASA CITA-A, TIBCO Certified Associate, SOA Architect.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce standards for architecture, design, development, QA, and testing within integration initiatives.
• Design enterprise-wide integration architectures including APIs, data integration, middleware, ESB, and cloud services.
• Translate business, user, and technical requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
• Design system and database architectures to support enterprise capabilities.
• Evaluate existing systems to identify integration opportunities and improvements.
• Lead architecture lifecycle management and ensure governance across projects.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams and guide SDLC processes.

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise-wide integration architectures across complex hybrid and cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions, defining integration strategies, governance models, and architecture standards while ensuring scalability, security, interoperability, and operational excellence.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Define and enforce standards for architecture, design, development, quality assurance, and testing within enterprise integration initiatives.


• Design and communicate enterprise-wide integration architectures, including APIs, data integration solutions, middleware, ESB platforms, and cloud integration services.


• Gather and analyze business, user, functional, and technical requirements and translate them into scalable architectural solutions.


• Design system, application, and database architectures supporting enterprise business capabilities.


• Evaluate existing systems, applications, and services to identify integration opportunities and improvement areas.


• Design enterprise integration connectors, integration flows, service bus solutions, and API-driven architectures.


• Define and plan platform capacity, performance, resilience, and security requirements.


• Support the design of analytics platforms, data governance models, and business intelligence services.


• Lead architecture lifecycle management and ensure architecture compliance across projects.


• Provide technical leadership to development teams and support software delivery processes.


• Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and integration patterns aligned with business objectives.


• Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, models, and executive presentations.


• Monitor and interpret system metrics to drive performance, security, and quality improvements.


• Contribute to enterprise architecture repositories and maintain architecture artifacts and governance standards.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategic business goals and technology solutions.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Higher education degree equivalent to EQF Level 7 or above.


• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.


• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional IT experience.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Enterprise Architect or Integration Architect role.


• Proven experience acting as lead architect in at least one enterprise-wide integration platform deployment.


• At least two of the following certifications (or internationally recognized equivalent certifications):

IASA Architect CITA-A

TIBCO Certified Associate

Certified SOA Architect

• Deep expertise in systems integration architecture at data and API levels.


• Extensive experience designing enterprise integration platforms, connectors, integration flows, and service bus solutions.


• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, standards, and architectural models.


• Experience planning platform scalability, capacity, resilience, and security.


• Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as TIBCO, MuleSoft, or similar technologies.


• Strong understanding of SOA, databases, application servers, middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, business intelligence, systems integration, and SDLC methodologies.


• Solid experience designing systems and applications using UML.


• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and practices.


• Proven ability to align application development and technology strategies with business needs.


• Experience with architecture and modeling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or similar.


• Good knowledge of architecture frameworks and standards such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected Framework, or equivalent.


• Experience with hybrid systems and application integration.


• Experience modeling architectures using ArchiMate.


• Knowledge of the European Interoperability Framework (EIF) or comparable interinstitutional interoperability frameworks.


• Experience applying architecture styles, patterns, and best practices.


• Excellent communication, documentation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
