Job summary

Ayesa Digital is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the definition, evolution, and governance of enterprise architecture across a complex organization. • Proven experience as Enterprise Architect in medium to large organisations.
• Experience promoting enterprise architecture culture, governance and best practices.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and standards (TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected).
• Experience with business process modelling, value stream mapping and capability maps.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and govern enterprise architecture processes, methodologies and governance across the organisation.
• Design and promote architecture principles, standards and target-state architectures.
• Support programmes and projects in planning, risk and change management, and architectural compliance.
• Develop architectural capabilities and architecture management initiatives.
• Define system interoperability models and interfaces between business and technical systems.
• Gather needs and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
• Develop transition roadmaps from current to target architectures.
• Produce architecture documentation, reports and business cases for stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the definition, evolution, and governance of enterprise architecture across a complex organizational environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning business and technology strategies, establishing architecture practices and standards, supporting transformation initiatives, and ensuring architectural consistency across programmes, projects, and information systems.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Establish and maintain enterprise architecture processes, methodologies, and governance practices across the organization.
• Design, communicate, and promote enterprise architecture principles, standards, and target-state architectures.
• Support programmes and projects in planning, risk management, change management, harmonization activities, and architectural compliance.
• Contribute to the development of the organization's architectural capabilities and architecture management initiatives.
• Design, maintain, and govern the enterprise architecture repository.
• Define system interoperability models and design interfaces between business and technical systems.
• Gather business, user, and technical needs, analyse requirements, and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
• Map business goals, strategic priorities, expected benefits, capabilities, system components, and solution features.
• Develop transition roadmaps to guide the evolution from current-state to target-state architectures.
• Produce architecture documentation, reports, studies, presentations, and business cases for a variety of stakeholders.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret system and architecture metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Provide architectural guidance and support to projects implementing enterprise architecture components and standards.
• Assess architecture maturity using recognised frameworks and maturity models.
• Analyse organisational structures, information systems portfolios, business processes, value streams, and capability maps.
• Conduct information systems cost-benefit analyses and identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements.
• Develop standards, policies, and best practices that govern the use and evolution of IT assets across the enterprise.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Proven experience performing the role of Enterprise Architect within a medium to large organisation.
• Hands-on experience establishing and promoting enterprise architecture culture, governance, and best practices.
• Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture and business architecture design principles.
• Strong experience with business process modelling, value stream mapping, and capability map design.
• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture domains and their interdependencies.
• Experience performing maturity assessments using recognised frameworks and models.
• Proficiency with architecture modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, ARIS Architect, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong knowledge of recognised enterprise architecture frameworks and standards, such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected Framework, or similar.
• Expert-level knowledge of computer science and information technology, with the ability to evaluate solutions and improve existing operations.
• Experience designing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environments and enterprise-wide technology strategies.
• Excellent project management, planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.
• Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and present studies, strategic visions, business cases, assessments, and analytical models.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
• Experience developing IT standards, policies, governance models, and architecture guidelines.
• Proven ability to educate and influence stakeholders on enterprise architecture best practices.
• Strong capability to analyse organisational structures, business processes, data flows, and operational models to improve transparency and alignment between business and technology.
• Ability to identify optimisation and cost-saving opportunities through analysis of enterprise and operational data.

Certification Requirement

Candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications (or an internationally recognised equivalent accepted by the Contracting Authority):

• The Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA)
• CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP)
• ITIL v3 Master certification or equivalent
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)

Equivalent internationally recognised certifications may be considered subject to approval by the Contracting Authority.
