Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced data architecture leader to guide enterprise-wide data practices in a regulated environment. You will shape the data strategy and establish scalable information management frameworks across business units.

You will work with business and technology teams to ensure data assets are reliable, accessible, and ready for advanced analytics and emerging AI solutions. The role emphasizes governance and building reusable data products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture or related areas in a highly regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture concepts including distributed platforms and scalable data management.
• Practical experience with cloud data environments, data modeling, and SQL.
• Understanding of governance, reference/master data management, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Experience supporting research or scientific data in regulated compliance environments.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture principles, standards, and governance practices.
• Design scalable data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and operations.
• Translate business needs into reusable, high-quality data products and information models.
• Guide teams in adopting consistent data structures, semantic frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology domains to drive data initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve data capabilities and AI-ready data ecosystem.
