Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced data architect to lead enterprise-wide data architecture practices within a highly regulated research-driven environment. You will shape data strategy, establish scalable information management frameworks, and support data-driven initiatives across functions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, analytics, or related areas within a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture concepts, including distributed data platforms and scalable data management.
• Practical experience with cloud-based data environments, data modeling, and SQL.
• Understanding of data governance, master data management, metadata, lineage and data quality practices.
• Experience supporting research, development, or scientific data domains and regulated compliance.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture principles, standards, and governance practices.
• Design scalable data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and operational processes.
• Translate business needs into reusable, high-quality data products and information models.
• Guide teams in adopting consistent data structures, semantic frameworks, and architectural best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology domains to drive data-related initiatives.
