Sii is seeking an experienced data architecture leader to drive enterprise-wide practices in a regulated, research-driven environment. You will shape data strategy, establish scalable information management, and support data-driven initiatives across multiple business functions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data architecture, data management, analytics, or related areas in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of distributed data platforms and scalable data management.
• Experience with cloud-based data environments, data modeling, and SQL.
• Understanding of governance, reference/master data, metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Experience supporting research/science data domains in regulated compliance.
• Fluent English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve data architecture principles, standards, and governance practices.
• Design scalable data solutions for reporting, analytics, and operational processes.
• Translate business needs into reusable, high-quality data products and information models.
• Guide teams in adopting consistent data structures, semantic frameworks, and arch.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology domains to drive data initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to develop an AI-ready data ecosystem.
