You will define the technical roadmap, shape architecture, and drive high-throughput, reliable services built on Java, Kotlin, and the JVM ecosystem. As a leader of leaders, you will align engineering with product and business goals, mentor multiple team leads, foster an autonomous delivery culture, and ensure data integrity, fraud

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Engineering Manager or Team Lead guiding multiple backend teams.
• Strong backend background on JVM (Java/Kotlin) and modern architecture patterns.
• Experience with high-scale distributed systems in fintech/logistics is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication with senior leadership and non-technical partners.
• Passion for people leadership and developing engineers.
• Strategic, product-oriented mindset focused on delivery and data integrity.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical roadmap and architecture strategy for settlement and carrier integration systems.
• Lead and support multiple backend engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and delivery discipline.
• Oversee reliability and accuracy of high-scale financial settlement flows, billing and partner integrations.
• Bridge senior stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Drive delivery predictability and track system health metrics.
• Mentor leadership talent within teams and contribute to organizational growth.
