Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate on the EMEA Engineering COO team in Warsaw. You will partner with cross-divisional teams to execute strategic priorities, support location and people strategies, and optimize engineering processes.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in business management, corporate strategy, COO support, project management, or operations roles within technology or financial services.
Understanding of the financial services industry and IT/technology concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, data manipulation, and financial/operational modelling, and the ability to translate complex analyses into executive-ready presentations and visual narratives.
Proven track record of supporting end-to-end projects, tracking deliverables, managing risk, and ensuring stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
Ability to identify operational bottlenecks, document workflows, and suggest automated or optimized processes to drive efficiency.
Strong analytical skills, with experience building and maintaining management dashboards, KPIs, and operational reports.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting briefings and messaging for senior stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-divisional teams to support the execution of EMEA Engineering’s strategic priorities.
Key initiatives may include supporting location strategy, people strategies, optimizing Engineering-specific processes, and coordinating targeted internal or external meetings.
Develop a broad understanding of the Engineering organization, IT infrastructure, and the financial services industry to accelerate transformation with data-driven insights.
Create executive-ready presentations and manage complex datasets to elevate the Goldman Sachs Engineering brand and streamline operations.
Deliver dashboards and KPIs to support senior stakeholder decisions.
