Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Warszawa (Warsaw) is seeking an Associate on the EMEA Engineering COO team to support strategic priorities, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and optimize engineering processes.

You will develop insights, create executive-ready presentations, and manage complex datasets to elevate the Goldman Sachs Engineering brand and streamline operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business management, corporate strategy, COO support, project management, or operations roles within technology or financial services.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and IT/technology concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including Excel pivot tables, data manipulation, and modelling, and the ability to produce executive-ready presentations.
  • Proven track record of supporting end-to-end projects, tracking deliverables, managing risk, and ensuring stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to identify operational bottlenecks, document workflows, and suggest automated or optimized processes to drive efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience building and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and operational reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable drafting briefings for senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in business management, corporate strategy, COO support, project management, or operations roles within technology or financial services.
  • Understanding of the financial services industry and IT/technology concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including Excel skills in pivot tables, data manipulation, and financial/operational modelling, as well as the ability to translate complex analyses into polished, executive-ready presentations and visual narratives.
  • Proven track record of supporting end-to-end projects, tracking deliverables, managing risk, and ensuring stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.
