Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking an Engineering Change Engineer / Technical Writer to join the Gdańsk R&D team. You will support ECO framework, BOM management in PLM, and produce and maintain product manuals to ensure accurate documentation across Alarm, Video, and Access systems.

The role requires electronics/automation background, strong English technical proficiency, and experience with ERP/PLM tools. Located in Gdańsk with relocation support and a path for growth within a global safety

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Automation or related technical field.
• Experience in BOM structures and change management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Experienced with Corel and Adobe Suites.
• Good analytical skills and detail oriented mindset.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Very good command of English (technical language).
• Experience in using ERP systems preferably Oracle and PDXpert PLM.
• Experience in using Atlassian suite – Jira, Confluence.
• Knowledge of the electronic components industry.
• Experience in development of VBA macros.
• Experience in Technical Writing field.

Role Overview

KGS Fire & Security is looking for a Change Management and Technical Writing engineer to join our Gdańsk R&D organization to support development and sustaining of electronic products. Due to our Alarm, Video and Access products portfolio growth, we are expanding our team. In this role, you will focus on two areas - managing engineering changes in our ECO framework and PLM system and supporting Technical Writing to manage of our products manuals library.

Required Profile
