Job summary

Sphera is seeking a Solutions Architect to own and drive the technical architecture of our Environmental Accounting product area. This role is hands-on and requires strong coding in .NET/C# or Node.js, with a focus on AI-driven development and agentic AI capabilities.

You will lead architectural decisions, ensure scalable SaaS delivery, and collaborate across Product Management, Engineering leadership, and senior stakeholders. Strong AI tooling experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in architecture/lead engineer capacity.
• Strong hands-on development in .NET / C# or Node.js.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering SaaS/enterprise software at scale.
• Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), distributed systems, API design.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted engineering, including agentic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target architecture for the product, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Embed an AI-Driven Development Lifecycle across the product area with governance and best practices.
• Architect and deliver agentic AI capabilities from prototype to production.
• Lead technical direction while contributing to codebase in key areas.
• Ensure SaaS releases align with business priorities and maintain high quality.
