Job summary

Sphera is seeking a QA Manager to lead quality assurance across multiple product lines and projects. You will own QA execution, team leadership, and continuous improvement, collaborating closely with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders.

This hands-on management role drives automation, risk-based testing, and AI-assisted QA practices while ensuring high-quality releases across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software QA with leadership experience.
• 2+ years in QA team management across multiple products.
• Proven transition from manual to automated testing.
• Strong grasp of test automation principles and the test pyramid.
• Interest or experience with AI-assisted QA practices is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA engineers across product lines and sprints.
• Own QA strategy, test planning, and risk-based coverage.
• Drive automation investments and maintainability across squads.
• Guide AI-driven testing initiatives and tooling adoption.
• Manage QA during full release cycles and ensure release readiness.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to align quality outcomes.
