Job summary

Asteri AI, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead architectural design and scale of our AI-native orchestration platform.

You’ll own the technical roadmap and guide production systems used by global enterprises, mentoring senior engineers and ensuring reliability, security, and performance. You will shape backend and frontend directions, drive complex workflows, and collaborate with product, AI, and design teams to deliver robust, high-visibility solutions in a remote-friendly, rapidly

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with a track record architecting large-scale production apps.
• Experience building enterprise-grade apps in regulated environments.
• Expert backend with Python/Node.js and distributed systems design.
• Frontend with React and TypeScript; API design and data modeling expertise.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team architectural influence.
• Experience on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and delivery of scalable full-stack systems.
• Define backend/frontend services and APIs with security and observability.
• Drive frontend experiences and operational visibility across products.
• Architect AI-human orchestration workflows and policy enforcement.
• Oversee enterprise data integration, end-to-end workflows, and audits.
• Promote production excellence via testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
