Hitachi Energy Poland SP. Z.O.O. is seeking an Engineering Application Manager to oversee end-to-end lifecycle management of internally developed applications for engineering designs.

You will align IT services with enterprise architecture, manage incidents, changes, releases, and security, and partner with business analysts to drive value while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance. Qualifications

• 2+ years in Application Management or IT service delivery.
• Experience managing applications lifecycle: incident, problem, change, release, SLA management.
• ServiceNow experience for lifecycle management.
• Engineering domain knowledge (engineering tools, PLM).
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, integrations, and data flows.
• Agile/DevOps development models.
• ITIL 4 practices and service management principles.

Responsibilities

• Govern applications across the full lifecycle: onboarding, operations, and retirement.
• Maintain documentation and records in the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Ensure effective service delivery, including incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Manage application availability, performance, and SLAs.
• Ensure security and compliance requirements are met, including access management and audits.
• Collaborate with Application Owner and Business Analyst to align roadmap with priorities.
• Support team to increase Application Management maturity across the business unit.
• Drive user adoption and process harmonization, training, and business value realization.
• Manage costs, budgets, licenses, and vendors, including contracts and third‑party performance.
• Plan and execute controlled application retirement with data archiving.
