Job summary

Align Technology in Europe seeks a Sr. Manager, Regional Privacy Lead - EMEA to operationalize and scale the Privacy Program across EMEA, ensuring GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy, and AI-related compliance while partnering with Legal, Regulatory and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 10 years of professional experience with 5+ in privacy risk management.
• Experience in medical device/pharma or healthcare industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regional Privacy Program and act as primary privacy advisor for EMEA.
• Ensure GDPR/UK GDPR, ePrivacy compliance and monitor regulatory developments.
• Adapt global policies to reflect regional regulatory needs.
• Lead privacy risk assessments, DPIAs, and AI assessments.
• Oversee RoPA, accountability documentation, and governance reporting.
• Manage third-party privacy risk with cross-functional teams.
• Support customer privacy inquiries, due diligence, RFPs and audits.
• Drive privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default across initiatives.
• Develop AI governance models aligned with global strategy.
