Job summary

Align Technology, Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager, Regional Privacy Lead - EMEA to operationalize and scale the Privacy Program across EMEA. This role partners with Legal, Regulatory and Quality to ensure GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy compliance, and AI-related governance in a fast-paced, global organization.

The position may be based in Wroclaw, Poland or Madrid, Spain, reporting to the Global Compliance and Privacy Officer with dotted-line to the Director, Global Privacy, Data Governance and AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred (e.g. JD, MBA).
• Professional privacy certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience, incl. 5+ years in privacy risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead Regional Privacy Program for EMEA and align with global strategy.
• Ensure GDPR, UK GDPR, ePrivacy compliance and regulatory guidance.
• Develop region-specific SOPs and privacy controls.
• Oversee DPIAs, privacy reviews, AI assessments and risk mitigations.
• Oversee RoPA, data transfer mechanisms, and governance reporting.
• Manage third-party privacy risk and vendor privacy assessments.
• Provide privacy support to sales, contracts, and audits.
• Lead privacy training and promote a culture of accountability.
