Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Credit Underwriter for the EMEA region to set credit lines and underwrite financing transactions aligned with Cisco’s risk appetite. You will act as a strategic advisor, coordinating with sales, operations, and finance to support growth while maintaining strong controls.

The role is based in Dublin or Kraków with a hybrid model (office attendance twice a week). It requires rigorous analysis, effective communication, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 3 to 5 years of credit experience within the financial services sector or related industries.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret financial statements and credit metrics to produce objective assessments.
• Assign risk ratings in accordance with Cisco’s internal credit policy.
• Monitor aged debt and review outstanding balances to identify trends.
• Partner with sales, operations, and finance to architect complex transaction structures.
