Job summary

Cisco Systems Finance International Unlimited Company in Dublin or Kraków is seeking a Credit Underwriter for the EMEA region, with a hybrid model. You will act as a strategic advisor, setting credit lines and underwriting financing transactions aligned with Cisco's risk appetite.

You will collaborate with sales, operations and finance to structure transactions that enable growth while maintaining strong controls. 3–5 years of credit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret financial statements and credit metrics to produce objective, documentation-backed assessments for new and existing customers and partners.
• Assign risk ratings in strict accordance with Cisco’s internal credit policy.
• Monitor aged debt and perform regular reviews of outstanding balances to identify emerging trends or credit deterioration.
• Partner with sales, operations, and finance to architect complex transaction structures that support growth while mitigating risk.

Cisco's Global Credit Underwriting team handles the extension of credit on behalf of Cisco. We support over $60B in revenue via our Trade & Channel programs and over $7B in term leases and loans via Cisco Capital.

Your Impact

In the capacity of a Credit Underwriter for the EMEA region, you will act as a strategic business advisor who bridges the gap between commercial enablement and rigorous risk management. Your mandate includes setting credit lines for a diverse range of partners and customers while managing the underwriting of financing transactions that align with Cisco’s risk appetite and balance sheet requirements. This is a high-impact position where your analytical output directly influences decision-making, requiring you to collaborate effectively across sales, operations, and finance to architect solutions that facilitate growth while maintaining a robust control environment.

Your Primary Tasks
