Job summary

Eaton in Poland seeks a Corporate Accounting Leader - EMEA Mobility to supervise ledgers, own regional reporting, and ensure SOX/US GAAP compliance. You will partner with GFSS, COE and finance teams to support strategic regional initiatives and drive improvements in financial processes.

The role requires a strong background in accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment, fluent business English, and a proactive, independent work style with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s or professional qualification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience managing a team.
• Experience in finance/accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and US GAAP and local GAAP desirable.
• Fluent in business English.
• Ability to operate independently and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong technical skills with high business acumen.
• Change management and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Principal responsibility for supervising all ledgers and acting as point of contact for all matters.
• Responsible for all reporting for the countries in scope and other compliance.
• First point of escalation for various matters (special projects, SCM and PTP issues).
• Ensure control environment; adhere to Eaton policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance.
• Partner with the business and finance organization to support strategic initiatives in the region.
• Collaborate with COEs (Statutory, Tax, Payroll) to help execute business strategies.
• Support strategic projects such as tax, restructuring, payroll, system implementations, treasury.
• Drive optimization through standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes.
• Support month-end closing and reconciliation activities.
• Maintain ethical standards at all times.
