ALTEN Polska in Katowice is seeking an experienced embedded software test engineer to design, develop and maintain automated tests for complex embedded systems. You will build and enhance Python-based test frameworks and test software components across Unix/Linux/QNX environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded systems testing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux/QNX environments.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and communication protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for embedded systems.
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks in Python.
• Test software components in Unix/Linux/QNX environments.
• Validate system functionality, with a focus on networking and communication protocols.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
• Work closely with international teams in an Agile environment.
