Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an embedded software engineer to develop and maintain C/C++ software for embedded systems in a hybrid, Katowice-based role. You will work closely with hardware platforms and international engineering teams on global projects, focusing on low-level software design and testing.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in embedded development, strong C/C++ skills, and a good grasp of hardware-software integration. English at B2 level is required; Agile experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, especially C++.
• Hands-on experience near hardware and hardware-software integration.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems development and debugging.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Nice to have experience in industrial automation, RTOS, and Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C/C++, with strong focus on C++.
• Design and implement low-level software for embedded systems.
• Integrate software with hardware platforms and operating systems.
• Participate in design, implementation, and testing of new functionalities.
