Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our Kraków team. You will plan and execute testing for infotainment/embedded systems, create test cases from requirements, and verify system functionality across the SDLC.

We expect 3–5 years in embedded testing, C programming knowledge, and strong QA practices. Collaboration with development teams, automotive protocols, and Vector tools, JIRA and Polarion experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems testing.
• Knowledge of the C programming language and basic programming principles.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements and create effective test cases.
• Experience in executing tests and reporting test results.

• Basic knowledge of electronics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with development teams in defect analysis and resolution.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, including: CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet
• Hands-on experience with Vector tools, such as: CANoe, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio, Experience
• working with: Polarion,JIRA, GitHub, Windows, Python
