Job summary

WizzDev in Poznań, Poland is seeking an Embedded Software Developer who combines firmware engineering with lab supervision and mentoring responsibilities. You will work on ESP32/STM32/nRF devices and help shape embedded architectures.

The role includes creating technical docs, debugging, and ensuring lab safety while guiding juniors and supporting the sales team on embedded projects. A strong electronics background and C++/Python skills are required.

Qualifications

Higher technical education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial experience after Master’s degree (Mid) or 5+ years (Senior).
Practical knowledge of C/C++ and basic Python; strong electronics knowledge.
English proficiency at least B2; strong organization and leadership skills.
Willingness to work full-time on-site and supervise trainees.

Responsibilities

Develop firmware for ESP32, STM32, nRF, and Embedded Linux platforms.
Create technical documentation and participate in architecture design.
Debug, troubleshoot, and support embedded projects across Smart Home, Smart City, HVAC, Life Science, and MedTech.
Supervise the embedded lab, ensure safety, and manage equipment and workstation instructions.
Mentor students, interns, and vocational trainees; onboarding and safety briefings.
Assist the sales team with embedded projects and proposals; manage Upwork communications.
