Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Poland is seeking a curious Software QA Engineer (Level 1) to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our next-generation smart camera platforms. You will test both software and embedded hardware, and explore with AI-assisted approaches to accelerate testing.

Join a team designing edge-based cameras with NPUs and collaborate with firmware and software developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes, and push brings-up in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for quality with analytical mindset and curiosity.
• Comfortable with embedded Linux and command-line basics.
• Basic programming in Python and Bash for automation.
• Proactive problem solving and clear bug reporting.

Responsibilities

• System Testing: Test functional, regression, and system tests on hardware and embedded Linux.
• Test Automation: Create and maintain Python/Bash test scripts.
• Log & System Analysis: Analyze logs and hardware outputs to isolate issues.
• AI-Assisted Testing: Use AI tools to brainstorm tests and accelerate analysis.
• Collaborative Debugging: Work with firmware/software teams to reproduce and verify fixes.
