About the role

We are looking for an Embedded C++ Engineer with testing background.

Your team will be 6-8 people and will be one of 20+ embedded teams located in Katowice. You will work together also with other teams, located in USA, Singapore and Czechia. You will report to the Team Leader/Manager, Embedded Software and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

Tasks

• Develop and maintain embedded software components in C++.
• Create and maintain automated tests using Python.
• Execute functional, integration, and system testing activities.
• Analyze defects and support issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers to improve software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Experience in embedded software development using C++.
• Knowledge of software testing and validation methodologies.
• Python programming skills for test automation and tooling.
• Experience with debugging and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN, UART).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux or RTOS.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
• Experience in Agile / SAFe environments.
• Understanding of software quality and test coverage metrics.
