Seargin Ltd. is seeking an experienced C++ Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain firmware for industrial automation devices. You will implement features, run tests, and contribute to CI/CD workflows while collaborating with international teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in embedded firmware, strong C++ development skills, familiarity with networking protocols, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Strong English skills are required for global cooperation.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of practical software development using C++.
• 5+ years embedding firmware development experience.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP or RTOS (QNX/VxWorks).
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab and Jenkins.
• Fluent English at B2 level or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware components for multiple industrial automation devices.
• Implement and validate features involving network protocols and platform services.
• Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and prioritize issues.
• Write unit/integration tests and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
• Participate in requirements analysis, system design, and architecture discussions.
• Create and maintain high/low level design specifications and technical docs.
• Lead code reviews, follow embedded coding standards, and resolve complex issues.
• Participate in Agile/SAFe, mentor engineers, and collaborate with international teams.

• Design, develop, and maintain firmware components for multiple industrial automation devices
• Feature Implementation
  • Implement and validate product features involving network protocols, controller runtime functions, and platform or OS services
• Debugging & Defect Analysis
  • Investigate firmware defects, perform systematic root cause analysis, and prioritize complex and critical technical issues
• Testing & CI/CD
  • Write unit and integration tests and contribute to automated, CI/CD-driven software quality workflows
• Participate in requirements analysis, system design, and architecture discussions, taking ownership of specific components and features
• Technical Documentation
  • Create and maintain high-level and low-level design specifications and other technical documentation
• Code Quality & Issue Resolution
  • Conduct code reviews, follow embedded coding standards, and lead the analysis and resolution of complex system-level issues
• Participate in Agile/SAFe activities, mentor less experienced engineers, contribute to technical decisions, improve development processes, and collaborate with international teams

Requirements

• C++ Development Experience
  • Typically 5+ years of practical software development experience using C++
• Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience with software lifecycle methodologies covering requirements analysis, software design, implementation, and testing
• Embedded Firmware Experience
  • Typically 5+ years of experience developing and debugging embedded systems firmware
• Embedded Systems Knowledge
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following areas: network protocols such as TCP/IP, embedded systems architecture, or real-time operating systems such as QNX or VxWorks
• Git & CI/CD
  • Practical experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
• Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent English at B2 level or higher
