Job summary

INTechHouse is seeking a Regular/Senior Embedded Software Engineer to advance firmware for a battery-powered ECG device with LTE, BLE and USB connectivity. You’ll design, integrate and stabilize firmware on RTOS and work across interfaces, data layers, and cloud deployments with a hands‑on, quality‑driven team.

Ideal candidates have strong Embedded C experience, RTOS know-how, BLE and firmware update skills, and English at B2 or higher.

Regular/Senior Embedded Software Engineer (f/m)

Join InTechHouse and work on engineering and software solutions for international customers across regulated and mission-critical industries.

We are an R&D and engineering company specializing in electronics and hardware design, embedded systems development, Edge AI, IoT, industrial data platforms, and OT/IT integration. Our teams build solutions that combine software, embedded technologies, connected devices, industrial data, and AI, supporting products and systems throughout development, integration, testing, and deployment.

You’ll work in a collaborative environment with experienced engineers, where technical quality, ownership, and practical problem-solving matter more than unnecessary formalities.

You’ll join our internal team, working on projects across demanding industries including medical and life sciences, telecommunications, oil & gas, and aerospace. Expect end-to-end ownership, including React/TypeScript interfaces, Python/FastAPI backends, data layers, integrations, and cloud deployment.

We are developing firmware for a battery-powered, portable ECG device with LTE, BLE and USB connectivity.

What you’ll do:

• Integrate and stabilize firmware on an RTOS-based system,
• Implement BLE communication and data sync between two devices,
• Implement USB device communication (High-Speed, MTP) with a mobile app,
• Implement firmware updates over USB,
• Support peripherals such as LEDs and a vibration motor,
• Prepare the device firmware for lab testing,
• Depending on your experience: contribute to system architecture, cybersecurity and secure boot.
• NXP MCX N947 running Eclipse ThreadX RTOS,
• LTE Cat 1 bis module Telit LE310Q1, connected over USB,
• BLE module NORA-B266 with an AT interface over UART.

What we're looking for:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in embedded C,
• Hands-on experience with an RTOS,
• Practical experience with BLE,
• Experience with firmware update mechanisms
• English at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Embedded system architecture design,
• Cybersecurity and secure boot implementation,
• Experience with NXP MCX N series and Eclipse ThreadX,
• Experience preparing firmware for lab tests,
• Working with AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code).
