Job summary

Altimi is seeking a QA engineer to join a project for an EU-based company, focusing on embedded audio systems. You will verify SDK performance, assess speech quality, and contribute to pushing audio quality to meet project standards. Occasional travel (3–5 days) may be required, especially at the start.

You will work with a team across embedded systems and audio testing domains, applying PESQ/ViSQOL/STOI/WER metrics and conducting listening tests to ensure robust, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience testing embedded systems.
• Experience evaluating audio/speech quality.
• Knowledge of PESQ, ViSQOL, STOI and/or WER metrics.
• Experience conducting listening tests.

Responsibilities

• Running SDK performance tests on embedded devices.
• Evaluating speech quality: intelligibility, naturalness, speaker identity, artifacts, and latency.
• Measuring quality with PESQ, ViSQOL, STOI, and WER metrics.
• Designing and conducting listening tests.
• Reporting results and collaborating with the development team.
