Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) seeks an experienced Electronic Engineer to join an agile team. You will design PCBA harnesses powering laser systems and develop firmware for MCU-based platforms, taking projects from concept to prototype and into production.

You will collaborate with global teams, document thoroughly, and help optimize components and processes for manufacturing. Travel up to 10% may be required, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electronics required.
• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as Electronic Engineer.
• Experience with EMC-compliant PCB design and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of EDA software such as Altium Designer.
• Experience with embedded systems and C programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and test PCBAs and harnesses for laser systems.
• Implement firmware for MCU-based systems.
• Prepare project documentation and BOMs.
• Coordinate with purchasing and planning for prototype components.
• Assemble prototypes and troubleshoot issues in prototypes.
• Support manufacturing and sourcing teams.
• Identify design issues and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other engineers to assess impact on production.
