We are looking for an experienced engineer ready to take on an exciting challenge and contribute to the development of next-generation printing technologies. As part of a new and agile team within a global organization, you will work on electronic and electrical systems and PCB designs, with a primary focus on laser technologies. Working alongside talented engineers in a global environment, you will have the opportunity to take complex products from proof of concept through to production and see your work make a real impact on our customers and future products.
What you will do:
- Design and test PCBAs and harnesses to provide power and control of laser systems Implementation of FW for MCU based systems
- Preparation of documentation for projects
- Preparation, verification, and correction of BOMs
- Cooperation with purchasing and planning departments to acquire components for prototype assembly
- Preparing and placing orders for components for prototypes
- Identify root causes of functional or quality issues that may occur during prototype assembly
- Cooperation with other discipline engineers in assessing the designed solutions and their impact on the production process and applied technologies.
- Identification of design features that may cause technological problems and taking initiative to solve them
- Support for manufacturing and sourcing teams
- Researching, implementation and improvement of best practices and tools to increase design quality and team efficiency
- This position may require some domestic and international travel up to 10%
What you need to have:
- Engineering Degree in Electronics
- A minimum of 3 years hands on experience working as Electronic Engineer with current technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to see problems as an opportunity
- Experience in EMC-compliant PCB design and troubleshooting
- Excellent knowledge of EDA software, e.g. Altium Designer
- Knowledge of Electronic Embedded Systems and C programming
- RTOS implementation familiarity would be a plus
- Basic knowledge of FPGA designs
- VHDL language and Phyton knowledge would be a plus
- Familiarity with soldering techniques and good manual skills
- Industrial integration and industrial automation experience is nice to have
- Respective ISO standards and regulatory compliance familiarity is nice to have
- Good English skills, ensuring easy verbal and written communication across different levels of the organization
