Woodward Inc. in Niepolomice (Poland) is seeking an Electrical Product Engineer (f/m) to lead assigned product lines, support PCBA manufacturing, assembly and test, and manage component obsolescence across turbine and industrial engine control devices.

You will investigate quality issues, coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain and suppliers, support lifecycle management, and serve as a technical interface for Sales and Customer Service while applying DFSS tools and drawing on your English and

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in electronics or related.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of electronic design and PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, reflow, wave and selective soldering, ICT, conformal coating, and final product assembly.
• Experience in debugging of electronic hardware with focus on PCBAs and problem solving.
• Ability to perform basic electronic measurements and tests.
• Ability to interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to operate in international project teams.
• Competent use and understanding of design tools and DFSS methodologies; knowledge of engineering quality systems (PLC, ECN, configuration management).
• Good English and Polish language skills

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned product lines, including support of PCBA manufacturing, assembly, test, component obsolescence.
• Investigate product quality issues, NCRs, warranty returns, repair findings, and scrap analysis, driving RCCA actions.
• Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, Repair, and external suppliers to resolve technical and quality-related concerns.
• Support product lifecycle management activities, including obsolescence management, PCNs, long-term sustainment, and component transition planning.
• Support validation of component replacements (functional, thermal, vibration tests).
• Serve as the technical interface for Sales, Customer Service, and customers, guiding warranty claims and technical inquiries; coordinate with global teams.
• Apply basic testing and measurement techniques as part of troubleshooting and validation.
• Utilize design tools and DFSS approaches to support product integrity and quality systems.
