Job summary

Siemens Energy in Warsaw is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert support for high voltage equipment and switchgears during warranty and post-warranty periods, while managing service contracts and supervising installations.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot and optimize system performance, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and travel as needed to site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• 5+ years of installation/commissioning experience for HV/MV systems.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

As a Field Service Engineer in our Grid Technologies service business, you will provide expert support for high voltage devices and switchgears during warranty and post-warranty periods. Your role will involve managing service contracts, supervising installations and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to deliver exceptional service and customer satisfaction.

• Perform field service tasks related to high voltage electrical systems (GIS, AIS) during warranty and post-warranty periods.
• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of HV equipment and switchgears.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout all processes.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• Several years of professional experience in a related field, with a minimum of 5 years in the installation and/or commissioning of high voltage and medium voltage systems.
• Flexibility and a willingness to travel as needed.
• Fluency in Polish and a good command of English.
