Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in Kraków, Poland, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for petrochemical and refinery projects. You will prepare project documentation, perform electrical calculations, and develop layout drawings, contributing to installation specifications and material take-off.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, has 3+ years of plant engineering experience, can work independently with Project Lead

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated experience as an Electrical Engineer within a plant engineering company.
• Proven ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with the Project Lead Engineer.
• Fluency in both Polish and English (written and verbal).
• Computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, AutoCAD, Dialux.
• Knowledge of ETAP software or other power system analysis software is highly beneficial.
• Eligibility to work within the European Union and Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for the petrochemical and refinery projects.
• Prepare project documentation including project specifications, one line diagrams, protection and control schematic diagrams, terminal connection diagrams, substation layouts.
• Perform electrical calculations such as short circuit calculations, power balance, cable calculations , lighting intensity calculations, grounding and lightning protection calculations.
• Develop layout drawings (covering consumer location, cable tray routing, lighting, grounding).
• Prepare Installation typicals and Material Take-off.
• Contribute to your professional growth with a clear path towards developing into a Senior Electrical Design Engineer.
• Collaborate and coordinate effectively with the Project Lead Engineer and multidisciplinary teams.
